Columbus Memorial
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
with Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates

While working at Venturi Scott Brown and Associates, Maurice Weintraub was involved with the design of the Columbus Memorial.   The memorial, recalling the form of a classical obelisk, was to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Columbus discovering America.  The model depicted to the right was the intended design.
