While working at Venturi Scott Brown and Associates, Maurice Weintraub was involved with the design development and construction documentation of a 5000 SF house on the coast of Maine.

The house is intended to serve as a summer house.  The form of the house transforms from on end to the other expressing the evolution of the shingle style and its various sub-periods.  The main feature of the elevations are located in the 'crow's nest' recall the form of a ships wheel.

The entrance hall shown to the left features a custom wood stair and rail, a wide planked wood floor, a large fiberglass column and a custom design chandelier.
